Mmm, mmm, mmm...that's all we need to say about the First Congo Foodies!

Saturday, September 9th and September 23rd, 10:00 a.m., FCC Kitchen

The Foodies have two gatherings planned! Come on September 9th to help Chef Ann make salted caramel pecan bars and raspberry shortbread bars for the Fall Kickoff event on September 10th. Yum! Then come on back for their first fall gathering on Saturday, Saturday, September 23rd to make soup to share with our homebound members, quinoa salad and more!

First Congo member Ann is a trained chef who studied in New York City. Her cooking skills are amazing, and her teaching skills are equally so. Topics will vary each session, but one big benefit is that each session will produce an edible treat for the group to share. This class is for the beginner or more experienced cook, and is open to adults and older youth. A small fee will be charged to help offset the cost of the food.
